Trick or Treat 2022 Letter

Thanks for considering writing for me! Re: Halloween, I'm fine with an interpretation that includes Halloween tropes but doesn't involve celebrating the literal holiday. It wouldn't really make sense for any of these characters to celebrate Halloween.

General likes: dread, abuse/grooming narratives, any kind of fucked up mentor/student dynamics, dubcon, guilt over bitterness and immoral desires, irreversible change and slippery slopes and corruption, detailed sex scenes, gross sex, unreliable narrators, suspense and mystery, nonlinear narratives, flowery prose, moody settings, gender focused narratives, misleading dialogue, bittersweet endings, fluff in the midst of a terrible situation, fridge horror, insects, illness, power reversal and shifting roles, physical or psychological transformation

Kinks/sex trope likes: enthusiastic consent for things that are very bad for you, unenthusiastically consenting or initiating because you get something out of it, the less interested person having total control over the very interested person, shaming over how horny someone is, chastity cages and edging, both so horny you're uncoordinated and messy and maybe fuck things up, shyness and having to be pushed to say what you want, going into a euphoric or religious fervor, needles and knives, spanking and canes, psychological pain play, guilty orgasms, shameful kink discovery, humiliation and bullying either traditionally or through overstimulation, mild pet play, consensual vore or other permanent harm, one or both having sex while fully/half clothed

DNW: pregnancy fluff, raceplay, pet death, adult/child sex scenes, explicit rape as the entire fic (fine if partial), setting change AUs (ABO or canon divergence would be fine, the characters living on a pirate ship or going to an American high school wouldn’t be)


I Want to Be You Just for a Day

I enjoy the het and femslash ships for this fandom equally. Some ideas: Medea or Psyche have amnesia, causing them to lose their psychological progress and think that they're still enemies (or, if set in the early series, still close). Medea and Psyche somehow are in the family combat competition together. Eros gets sex pollened and ruins his life. Medea gets Psyche's holy powers instead. Any of the missing scenes where Medea has sex with Eros or Helio (or the Queen of Othilei hahaha). Or, take the BDSM-like scenes that occur when Medea and Psyche are acting in front of the servants and make it literal. I'd love to see Psyche killing people generally. This would be a great fandom for the ABO or mantisfuck consentworld tropes.
 

Otherside Picnic

I am obsessed with Satsuki Uruma. The development of Toriko and Sorawo's relationship is perfectly written, but information about Satsuki is held close to the author's chest. I want to know if you think she was a manipulative human or a predatory anomaly, or if being one of those things led to her becoming the other. Did she transform herself on purpose? Why did she lead vulnerable girls to the Otherside? Did she get off on it? What perspective does Kozakura have, as a disenchanted victim and one of the closest things Satsuki had to a peer? Is there any significance in the eerie similarity of Sorawo and Satsuki? Note: I've read up to volume 5, but I plan to read 6 and 7 too before reveals.

Some plot ideas: Satsuki messing with Toriko/Sorawo's relationship, AU where Satsuki fully brings Toriko into the Otherside, Satsuki being evil inside the treatment facility with all the Otherside victims, Satsuki getting to Sorawo first, Satsuki when she was still normal slowly being corrupted by the Otherside just like the protagonists but hiding it from others and continuing to seek out more.

 

Shadows House

Generally, I’d love a depiction of any romantic relationship with Shadows House. Kate/Emilico would be easiest, of course, but there’s some general principles you can play with across pairings. There’s the need for secrecy, the danger, the few free moments you have to be together. For a Shadow and a human, there’s a fun comparison of body differences, the way soot can be eroticized. If they’re not a pair, their partners now become either enemies or accomplices, and would be very difficult to fool. If they are a pair, there’s the intense interdependence between them, the power difference that easily rockets in either direction. The Shadow theoretically can do anything they want to the human, but the human is usually the smarter one, the one giving them the directions and feeding back the Shadows House propaganda. Mia and Sara really show how fucked up and for better or worse kinky that can get. For a Shadow/Shadow pairing, the intense competition and dog eat dog world of the Shadows House means they’ll have to fight to trust each other, assuming they’re not cynically using each other. Given we saw one of the adults eat an immature morph, maybe vore can come into play. And for a human/human pairing, the relationship almost can only be a tragedy, with the constant surveillance and the insistence that they have no desire.

Some Kate/Emilico plot ideas: Kate takes care of Emilico instead or lets her be the “noble” to equalize their relationship. Bad ends where Kate does something even worse than Maryrose ever would to try to end Shadows House. For example, using the coffee to hypnotize the humans with her messaging instead, or to cover up the plans she’s made with them. Or Kate abandoning her mission or other people to save Emilico, maybe letting them take the fall instead. An AU where Emilico is the shadow and Kate is the face, changing their plans. A love potion soot power brings them together too early, or they reveal their true feelings in a bout of protectiveness or possessiveness against the other Shadows.

Some other ideas: Barbara and Barbie getting some much deserved fluff or hurt/comfort. I’d love twisted fluff and hurt/comfort about how they can’t wait to become one and be with Christopher, who definitely shares their vision of the future. Rosemary and Maryrose living their lesbian life while ignoring their time limit. Ram and Shirley’s daily life and little happinesses. Any tiny moment of hope in the middle of the oppressiveness of Shadows House. Or the horror of the scorches and soot: attaching to a human’s face and walking around like a spider, wrapping a cocoon around their body and changing them. I’d love a story about a failed unification where both consciousnesses survive in one mutilated body, or a weak amount of the human’s mind stays and takes control back periodically.
